If you get a notice of an audit from an external agency, don't panic.

Per UCSF Policy 350-11, External Audits and Agency Reviews, the department, business unit or principal investigator who receives an audit-related notification or request from an external agency should notify the Chief Audit Officer, who will coordinate the response.
